About the role

Seasoned Operator to lead and grow Ode's lean Business Operations and Analytics team, building systems, infrastructure and processes to scale, while driving cross-functional initiatives and optimizing supply and demand.

Responsibilities

  • Build the infrastructure to scale: Build the systems, data, and processes that keep us ahead of growth. Approach internal operations like a product, using AI and automation to create better ways of working as we scale.
  • Lead critical strategic initiatives: Take on the cross-functional problems and opportunities that matter most to our next stage of growth—from new market expansion to new bets across the business.
  • Optimize supply and demand: Connect our commercial pipeline to our workforce through forecasting, capacity planning, and staffing—ensuring we have the right talent deployed against the right work while optimizing utilization and economics.
  • Drive company planning and performance: Own the rhythms that help us run the company—from annual and quarterly planning to internal communications, business reviews, and Board preparation.

  • You've scaled a high-growth business: You've helped build the systems and infrastructure behind a company through a period of rapid growth.
  • You bring exceptional analytical and technical rigor: You're highly quantitative, understand how data and systems work under the hood, and can build rigorous models from messy inputs.
  • You're a player-coach: You can build and lead an exceptional team while staying deeply in the work.
  • You build lean by design: You default to better systems, automation, and AI before adding people or process.
  • You want to win: You have a high bar, move with urgency, and are deeply motivated to build something exceptional.
