About the role

First FDPM dedicated to Financial Services at Ode with Anthropic, owning end-to-end client engagements, developing a FS product vertical, and shaping how AI is applied in banking, lending, asset/wealth management and related processes.

Responsibilities

  • Own the client relationship. Be the primary Ode partner to FS clients, from business-line leaders to risk, compliance and IT.
  • Shape what we build. Turn ambiguous goals into clear problem statements, user workflows and success metrics.
  • Turn messy needs into shipped products. Write crisp specs and plans for engineers, design workflows and evaluation criteria for AI systems, and decide where agents act autonomously vs. where humans review.
  • Ship in a regulated environment. Navigate model risk management, data governance, security reviews, audit trails and vendor risk processes so production-ready work isn’t stalled.
  • Drive adoption and lasting outcomes. Partner with client teams on rollout, training and change management, and measure impact in terms leaders care about
  • Build the Financial Services vertical. Turn engagements into repeatable patterns, generate demand, be Ode's FS product expert and help build the FS FDPM team.

Qualifications

  • Deep financial services experience. Built products for or worked inside banks, lenders, asset or wealth managers, fintechs or CFO organizations, with understanding of decision processes and workflows.
  • A real product and delivery track record. Typically 6–8+ years across product, consulting, implementation or operations, with shipping multiple products.
  • High-stakes client leadership. Experience leading work with pressure, stakeholders with disagreements, and maintaining quality under senior executive scrutiny.
  • Comfort with regulated environments. Experience shipping through model risk, compliance, security and procurement.
  • Technical fluency. Understanding of LLM-based systems, engineering/architecture tradeoffs, and ability to define evals and acceptance criteria; SQL or prototyping a plus.
  • Structured thinking and clear communication. Ability to move from CFO whiteboard sessions to engineer-ready specs.
  • Builder mindset. History of creating playbooks, practices, offerings or teams beyond individual projects.
  • Ownership and comfort with ambiguity. Ability to juggle multiple engagements and make sound calls with incomplete information.
  • Team first. Willingness to raise the bar for others and focus on team success.
