About the role
Software Engineer role focused on designing and delivering production-grade AI agents, owning the Agent Development Life Cycle, and partnering with enterprises and startups to evolve Sierra's AI agent platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver production-grade AI agents
- Build and ship highly performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents in production environments
- Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) from pilot through deployment and iteration
- Build, tune, and evolve AI agents in production environments
- Define and promote ADLC best practices
- Partner with large enterprises and startups to implement AI agents at scale
- Collaborate with customers to surface needs and shape the platform's evolution
- Contribute to the future of Sierra's platform through prototyping tools and features
- Collaborate with research, product, and platform teams
Qualifications
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
- Builder mindset with high agency and a track record of shipping
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
