About the role

Alan’s Corporate team builds the infrastructure for safe, scalable operations by combining Risk, Internal Control, Legal, Compliance, Corporate Governance and Security. The role focuses on identifying and managing risks, defining and owning end-to-end control activities, and growing into more complex control scopes, with emphasis on automation, documentation, and AI-enabled risk detection.

Responsibilities

  • Risk Management: identify and monitor risks on an international scope; co-build the next generation of risk tooling
  • Internal Control: define and implement control frameworks on processes leveraging transparency and distributed ownership; push for reliability and scalability using AI and automation; perform second-level reviews on high-risk areas; drive efforts to ensure proper controls documentation and communicability to third parties; support management of audits from commercial partners and supervisors
  • Team growth: expand risk management reflexes across the company; assist teams such as Insurance, Operations, Security and Legal to design and implement action plans to mitigate risks; create resources to raise awareness and empower the team for risk management, internal control and regulatory compliance; support identification and hiring of new talents for the team

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in internal control or a risk function – in insurance, a Big Four, or a regulated / fast-growing environment
  • Fluent in both French and English
  • Solid understanding of Solvency II and domain expertise (e.g. insurance operations, reserving, underwriting, reporting frameworks)
  • Comfort with AI and automation tools to scale controls, and anticipation of how AI reshapes controls
  • Builder's mindset and business-partner attitude: able to collaborate with product teams and act as a true partner rather than only a controller
  • Written-first and rigorous working style; structured, precise and comfortable with async communication
