About the role

The Operations Expert delivers at-scale insurance and health services by running processes, monitoring operations, and implementing continuous improvements across multiple countries, with a focus on delivering excellence to companies and members within Alan’s prevention-driven healthcare platform.

Responsibilities

  • Operate our processes: invoicing or claims treatment, grow and manage our network of providers, support internal teams (live and through documentation)
  • Contribute to the definition & owning the best monitoring scheme to track volumes/efficiency/SLAs, and identify risks and areas of improvement, internally or with our service providers
  • Supervise partnerships (e.g. teleconsultation, claim operators), participate in negotiation rounds, maintain daily communication to ensure business continuity
  • Perform controls on daily operations to ensure correct decisions and identify training needs (internally and externally)
  • Escalate feedback, help prioritize and support initiatives to improve processes and services
  • Implement continuous improvements to processes (roughly 20/30% of time) for automation, external communications, process auditing, etc.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating processes and services for scale-up or industrial/logistic contexts
  • Background in Support functions (Customer Support, People Operations) or customer-facing Commercial roles (Account Manager, Customer Success Communications)
  • Event coordination experience (nice to have)
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication; French or Dutch also valued
