About the role

Internship role focused on onboarding operations, people operations support, learning programs, automation, data reporting, and documentation within Alan’s People team.

Responsibilities

  • Employee experience — own the pre-boarding and onboarding operations end to end, and continuously improve the process so every new Alaner's first weeks feel smooth and well-supported.
  • People operations — get hands-on with the fundamentals of HR and be the first point of contact for Alaners navigating day-to-day requests.
  • Individual situations — shadow, then gradually own simple individual situations, learning how to guide leads and coaches through sensitive conversations with care and structure.
  • Learning and development — coordinate and improve our training programmes for leads and coaches, help measure their real-world impact, and iterate based on what the data tells you.
  • Automation and AI — spot what is still manual and should not be, then build the automations to fix it. We use Claude and Dust — you will too.
  • Data and reporting — track key People metrics, turn them into clear insights, and make sure the team always knows what is working and what is not.
  • Documentation — write and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation so Alaners can self-serve and leads can act with confidence without always needing to ask.
