About the role

Corporate Paralegal responsible for owning and scaling Alan’s corporate governance across multiple jurisdictions, building governance playbooks, and automating repetitive tasks with AI.

Responsibilities

  • Own Alan’s corporate governance with full ownership: prepare boards, general meetings and committees documentation; maintain entity records, registers and filings; run annual accounts approval and filings; act as go-to contact for shareholder and Board questions; support cross-border projects with research and drafting.
  • Build the governance playbook for expansion: set up governance for new entities; write playbooks, templates and guidance for local teams; adapt equity frameworks and documentation to new countries and local rules.
  • Automate repetitive work with AI: build workflows with no-code tools and internal AI; start with recurring events like meeting minutes, equity movements and filings calendar.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years owning corporate secretarial work (paralegal in a law firm, in-house corporate ops, or company secretary).
  • Legal knowledge: law degree or paralegal qualification; experience with board/shareholder documentation, entity management, corporate filings, equity documentation, due diligence or transaction coordination.
  • (Bonus) AI and tooling appetite: experience with no-code/AI tools (e.g., Make, Zapier, Notion automations) or willingness to learn.
  • Language: excellent written and spoken English (working language at Alan) and French.
