About the role

Insurance Expert role focused on health insurance in Spain, part of Alan’s Insurance Team. Responsibilities include monitoring business and risks, defining pricing strategies, margin monitoring, enabling sales tools, profitability analysis, and collaboration across countries to improve prevention-oriented insurance products.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the business and the risks
  • Help the rest of the team understand the subtleties of healthcare and insurance
  • Defining the pricing and re-pricing strategy of the different products
  • Improving margin monitoring
  • Collaborating with the Key Account Managers team to equip them with the right tools
  • Analyzing the profitability of the portfolio and suggesting action points

Qualifications

  • At least 6+ years of experience in health insurance
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of sector trends, pricing/repricing decisions, and market practices
  • Quantitative background (statistics, actuarial sciences) with experience in insurance products and business
  • Ability to navigate and synthesize technical, data, business and legal questions related to insurance
  • Builder mindset with ability to scale and optimize processes and systems
  • Willingness to deeply change the insurance and healthcare industry
