About the role

Senior Software Engineer focusing on designing, building, and operating the shared AI Platform services (agent and MCP infrastructure, evaluation pipelines, observability) to accelerate AI feature delivery while meeting security, cost, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate services of the AI Platform, such as evaluation pipelines, agent and MCP infrastructure, and observability tooling.
  • Lead small-to-medium features from technical design through completion, working independently within a clear roadmap.
  • Ensure the platform is reliable at scale, including testing, monitoring, on-call participation, and postmortems with root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with product and feature teams adopting the platform, and sometimes build customer-facing AI features.
  • Turn needs and pain points into platform improvements.
  • Share knowledge through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring less experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience building backend services and distributed systems running in production.
  • Strong coding skills in a mainstream backend language (Python or Java).
  • Working experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience building with LLMs, including model API integration, retrieval, agents, or evaluation tooling; production experience is a strong plus.
  • Operational maturity with ownership of services in production, including monitoring, debugging live issues, and incident response.
  • Experience shipping customer-facing product features (preferred).
  • Experience in cybersecurity or another regulated/high-trust domain (preferred).
