About the role

Weave is building a platform to understand and improve engineering work. This role combines engineering, technical writing, video production, and open-source maintenance to serve as the voice to engineers using Weave. Own the Weave Router, create demos and content, and grow the developer community.

Responsibilities

  • Build in public. Ship demos, integrations, plugins and sample projects on top of Weave and the Weave Router.
  • Own the Weave Router community. Manage issues, PRs, releases, docs, and contributors, making the router the default way teams route prompts across platforms.
  • Write the technical content. Create deep dives, tutorials, benchmarks and integration guides that engineers cite.
  • Own developer experience. Identify rough edges in docs, SDKs and installers and fix them in code or documentation.
  • Show up where engineers are. Participate in meetups, hackathons, livestreams, podcasts, X, Hacker News.
  • Feed the community back into product. Gather feedback from engineers to sharpen roadmap.
  • Partner with marketing and sales. Provide technical credibility in launches and deals.
  • Be flexible across tasks—from shipping a plugin to recording a demo video or triaging router issues.

Qualifications

  • You're an engineer first. You have shipped production code and still write it regularly.
  • You write exceptionally well and have built an audience or community.
  • You live the AI coding shift and use tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex daily.
  • You care about how engineering is measured (e.g., DORA, SPACE, DevEx).
  • This role requires 5 days in office in SF with regular travel.
