Responsibilities

  • Spend ~75% of time in code and ~25% engaging directly with clients (often CTOs) to understand problems, walk through tradeoffs, and ensure solutions meet needs.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of engineering experience with a track record of shipping multiple end-to-end products and writing production-ready code across disciplines.
  • Interest in applying software engineering fundamentals to AI systems and balancing frontier model capabilities with solid system design.
  • Comfort talking with senior technical stakeholders and navigating conversations effectively.
  • High ownership mindset with a willingness to take on significant responsibility and shape strategy and culture.
  • Low ego and high integrity, willingness to help others and seek help when needed.
