About the role

Role overseeing contributor supply for David AI's Marketplace, owning end-to-end supply, budget planning, and performance across recruitment, activation, engagement, and retention of contributors for multiple production ramps and languages.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a team of Marketplace Leads spanning contributor growth and contributor engagement.
  • Own supply for every production ramp and shape initial budgets with Data Operations GMs.
  • Run the ramp operating rhythm with weekly plans, pacing reviews, and escalation as needed.
  • Advise executive leadership on marketplace scaling, contributor segments, and investment priorities.
  • Own marketplace metrics and unit economics, collaborating with data science to determine analytics and scaling decisions.
  • Allocate project marketplace budgets between growth and supply, including languages and channels and cost-per-activation targets.
  • Improve contributor experience from application to first task and beyond, through experiments and feedback loops.
  • Coordinate with product, engineering, QA and payments to remove bottlenecks that slow contributors.

Qualifications

  • 7 – 10 years of experience in high-ownership roles (e.g., GM, founder, COO, or strategy/ops at a venture-backed startup).
  • Direct experience running the supply side of a marketplace.
  • Owned a gig or flexible-labor supply pool with accountable acquisition, activation, and retention metrics.
  • Experience building budgets and capacity plans with finance and operating partners, and leading a team against them.
  • Experience balancing supply against demand across multiple markets (cities/languages/segments).
  • Experience leading a team of operators or growth leads and collaborating with GMs owning delivery.
