About the role

Product Engineer role focused on building Alan's Ops AI Platform at ground zero, shaping architecture, product and foundations to enable autonomous AI agents for operational tasks with safety, scalability and non-technical user empowerment.

Responsibilities

  • Work on state-of-the-art AI systems and apply them to real-world, high-stakes operational problems.
  • Implement new capabilities for AI agents and tooling to enable autonomous creation, evolution, monitoring and evaluation of agents.
  • Scale the system to automate tens of thousands of tasks daily.
  • Influence system architecture and code quality.
  • Mentor engineers, contribute to product & engineering culture, and help with hiring.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in full-stack software engineering and systems architecture with emphasis on back-end engineering.
  • Experience with traditional ML, or LLMs, or ML DevOps is a plus.
  • Product-minded, self-directed, pragmatic, humble and collaborative.
