About the role

Senior full-stack engineer to contribute to Alan’s Hopper internal agentic AI platform, focusing on product experiences, agent runtime, secure connectors, skills/automations, and evaluations within a globally distributed, prevention-focused insurance tech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Product experience: durable AI sessions available from web, Slack, Linear, and GitHub for coding, data analysis, automation, and general work
  • Agent runtime and orchestration: control plane, harness, model routing, long-running execution, recovery, and isolated sandboxes
  • Secure connectors: MCP Gateway that manages identity, credentials, permissions, confirmations, sensitivity, and audit
  • Skills, automations, and artifacts: reusable workflows, scheduled or event-driven work, dashboards, and hosted tools
  • Trust and review: evaluations and product experiences that expose tests, screenshots, previews, queries, sources, and tool actions
  • Collaborate to scale Hopper with managed agent pools, sandboxed environments, autonomous testing, and CI auto-fix
  • Own work end-to-end from UI interactions or API contracts to production reliability

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in full-stack software engineering roles
  • Experience building products, internal platforms, frameworks, or infrastructure used by others
  • Depth in at least one area: AI agents and evaluations, developer platforms, UX, distributed systems/runtimes, or security/authorization
  • Ability to own work end-to-end from React interaction or API contract to production reliability
  • Experience with LLM APIs, agent harnesses, MCP, or AI-assisted coding tools is a strong plus
