About the role

Strategic finance partner to all functions, building operating models, plans, and investor reporting from scratch. First hire in the function, responsible for pricing decisions, growth drivers, and scalable analytics with AI at the core; involvement in fundraising and investor relations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Engagement and Product on decisions that drive growth: pricing and packaging, sales capacity and quota planning, unit economics and payback, and GTM efficiency.
  • Own the operating model, annual plan and forecasts, and track how we perform against them.
  • Own monthly board and investor reporting, from the numbers through to the narrative.
  • Build analytics and dashboards leadership uses to run the business.
  • Support fundraising and investor relations: model, materials, data room and investor Q&A.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years in investment banking, consulting, private equity or strategic finance.
  • You can build an operating model from a blank sheet, not just update one.
  • You turn messy data into a clear point of view, and can explain it plainly to a founder or a board member.
  • You take a problem and own it. You'd rather deliver the answer than hand off the deck.
  • You find building the playbook appealing.
  • You're excited to use AI to do analysis faster and better, not just to use the tools you're handed.
  • Bonus: SQL or data tooling (e.g. Hex), or exposure to B2B SaaS metrics.
