About the role

Senior Ops & Product Builder at Alan, responsible for defining vision, driving cross-functional alignment, and building scalable operational and product solutions in healthcare and insurance. Hybrid Paris, France, full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Owning critical and ambiguous challenges to shape strategy and drive lasting impact on P&L and member experience
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives across operations, product, and external partnerships
  • Define operating models, build scalable systems, and drive make-vs-buy decisions
  • Manage partnerships, supplier negotiations, and ecosystem strategies
  • Develop and implement fraud detection, billing recovery, and cost-reduction initiatives
  • Scale psychotherapy delivery and healthcare expense processes across markets
  • Prioritize initiatives with high business impact (>€10M/year)
  • Mentor and develop teams, fostering a strong community within Ops

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of professional experience in Operations management or entrepreneurship
  • Fluent in English and Spanish or French or Dutch
  • High level of structure and strong analytical skills (including SQL fluency)
  • Ability to own high-ambiguity, high-impact initiatives (>€10M/year business impact)
  • Ability to define vision and roadmap, lead product reviews, and drive make-vs-buy decisions
  • Strong prioritization skills with partial information and autonomous external partnerships
  • Experience innovating with AI and automation across teams
  • Strong mentorship capabilities and community impact
