About the role

Growth & Product Lead responsible for Canva’s product and localization experience in Indonesia, ensuring Indonesian users have the best possible Canva experience and acting as the voice of Indonesian users with culturally relevant, locally resonant content across product, marketing, and content.

Responsibilities

  • Own Canva’s product and localization strategy in Indonesia.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap for Indonesia, including feature launches, payment methods, authentication methods, and other market specific capabilities.
  • Analyse the active user and subscription funnels to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Evaluate and adapt global messaging, campaigns, and product experiences to resonate with Indonesian users.
  • Provide cultural insights and strategic guidance to global product, marketing, and content teams.
  • Work closely with linguists, translators, and local partners to ensure clarity, tone, and cultural nuance across all Indonesian language experiences.
  • Partner with the Indonesian Language Manager to develop language style guides, tone of voice, and localization best practices.]

  • You have 5+ years of experience in product and localisation within a high-growth SaaS or product-led company.
  • You bring a deep understanding of Indonesia’s digital ecosystem, cultural nuances, and consumer behaviour — gained through direct, hands-on experience with the market, even if you’re not currently based there.
  • You have strong analytical skills and know how to measure, interpret, and optimise funnel performance to drive meaningful impact.
  • You have a proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across product, marketing, content, and regional specialty teams — including collaborating effectively with an in-market Indonesia team from a regional hub.
  • You’re fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • You’re a strategic thinker who’s equally comfortable setting direction and rolling up your sleeves to execute.
  • You’re comfortable operating with some distance from the local market, proactively staying close to on-the-ground signals through data, research, and regular connection with local stakeholders.
  • You’re genuinely passionate about Canva’s mission to empower the world to design.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product and localisation within a high-growth SaaS or product-led company.
