About the role

12-month fixed term contract for a Global Benefits Manager based in Sydney, Australia, responsible for managing Canva's global benefits portfolio during parental leave cover.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day delivery of our global benefits portfolio, working with regional teams to resolve issues and support local needs.
  • Manage brokers and providers, negotiate renewals and track budgets, balancing value for money with a great benefits experience.
  • Deliver planned benefit launches and changes across countries, coordinating timelines, approvals, local requirements and communications.
  • Use benchmarking, costs, feedback and usage data to recommend where to improve programs and focus investment.
  • Work closely with Finance, Legal, Payroll and People teams, keeping responsibilities clear and building local benefits knowledge.
  • Keep policies, communications and processes clear and up to date, finding practical ways to simplify administration and help Canvanauts use their benefits.
  • Support broader reward partnering where needed, including compensation benchmarking and advice on offers and reward decisions.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience managing benefits across multiple countries, including budgets, broker relationships and renewal negotiations.
  • Ability to manage several projects at once, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Experience using data and feedback to build recommendations balancing people needs with commercial considerations.
  • Interest in wellbeing, belonging and life outside work as part of the wider people experience.
